Growing Boy

This is the latest picture I have taken of my sweet new baby Braysen. He weighs 8 lbs 14 oz now which I am so excited about. He has also grown another inch. We are having so much fun with him and we can't wait to share him with Family and Friends back home We love you all!!!

We had such a nice quiet Christmas it was fun being together with our little family. Eventhough we did miss family and friends it was so nice to have Kevy and Binny and girls come over to Celebrate the day with us!!! Thanks guys for all the good food and great company we sure had fun with you!!!

I went to be induced December 8th at 7:00 am that morning, but before we got ready to leave I was having some pretty bad contractions. On the walk out to the car my water broke a tiny bit and was leaking out. By the time we got to the hospital I was dialated to a 4 and while I was getting my epidural my water broke the rest of the way!!!! So I pretty much went into labor by myself which was a great blessing. So by 9:00 am I was dialated to a 6 and then by about 10:45 a 10 and ready to push!!!! He came so fast it was awesome!!!! He weighed 7 lbs and 14 oz and was 20 inches long. He has been such a joy in our home and the kids are just in love with him. Especially my little Brinlee she just wants to squeeze his cheeks and hold him and love on him. Braxton just loves to hold him also as much as he can. It has been so nice having my parents here to take care of our family I am so THANKFUL for them!!!!! I am so blessed to have gone into labor on my induction day and we are so blessed to have a new baby boy!!!!

Our First Snow Storm!!!

So we woke up to snow this morning!!! I didn't know if I should be excited or a little nervous that we are getting snow already!!! I just hope that by next weekend it is cleared off so that we can go and have this baby!!! I forgot how pretty it really is!!! The kids are ready to put their snow clothes on and get the sleds out. I told them that we have to wait until it sticks to the ground before we can do anything fun!!!!

Thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving being together with our little family!!! We got ready in the morning (that is when I took pictures) the rest of the day we were all at the school making rolls and helping serve the boys!!! So I am glad I got the kids that morning!!! They loved being over at the school they took their scooters and rode all over the place. The boys are sooo good to let Brinlee and Braxton (mainly Brinlee) boss them around. That night was nice also we watched a couple movies together and stayed up late the kids loved it!!!! I am thankful for a wonderful husband, two amazing children with another one on the way, I am thankful for family and friends whom I miss terribly at this time of year, I am also thankful for the gospel in my life and the challenges I am having that I know make me a better person, I am thankful for my Saviour whom I have had to ask alot of help from lately. I am thankful to be a mother and a wife. I am thankful for a nice place to live, I am thankful that Kevy and Binny are close, I am thankful for two nieces that make my day when I get to see them each week, I am thankful for my parents (both sets) that have been so helpful to us in all that we do, I am thankful for all our brothers and sisters and the love they show us, I am thankful for all the blessings that my Heavenly Father has given me.

Braxtons new glasses

So I took Braxton to the eye doc in August and he said maybe eventually he would need glasses. Last month I got a letter from the school nurse saying he needed to go in again. So we took him a week ago and sure enough he needed glasses. Poor kid really didn't have a chance anyhow with Lance and I. He was sooooo excited to get them!!!!

We went to Salina today which we do every Saturday and we met Kevy and Binny and the girls for lunch and the Movie Bolt!!! It was darling the kids loved it!!! It was also sooo fun to hang out with Kevy and Binny and the girls, the kids are all so cute together. We then got all of our grocery shopping done and we were on our way home. By this time it is pretty dark so you really have to watch for deer. We saw about ten deer off the side of the road two raccoons and this Buck which was way neat he totally stood there while we took the picture. I am sure glad we didn't hit any of them with our car!!!!

Brinlee wanted to help me mop one day. I had already done it but I let her go at it anyhow. Sooooooooo I gave her the swifter wet and let her go to town. She was wearing her jeans with bare feet. I came to do something in the front room and I heard this terrible scream so I ran into the kitchen and she would not tell me what was wrong. My Brinlee is the type that runs and hides to do her pouting she won't let you love her which I HATE!!!! So she never told me what happend until a few days later when a HUGE shiner showed up over her eye and up into her head. She had slipped while mopping and hit her head on the floor Poor Baby!!!! But I wish she would let me love her after accidents she is turd about that. This other picture is her and Daddy she wanted him to take one, she sure loves her Daddy!!!!!

I am getting close!!!!

So I just wanted to update everyone on the progress of the Baby and I think that we have FINALLY come up with a name for our little boy!!! I am being induced on December 8th, and they are so weird about doing a VBAC delievery out here the Dr says if I go early I might have to have a c-section. Which I thought was weird but I guess they have a certain medical team on hand to do the scheduled VBAC which is good!!! So I hope my little guy hangs in there until we need him to. Since we live an hour or so from the hospital I get nervous of my water breaking, or being in labor and not knowing about it!! But I decided that this is the time when my faith will be tested the most and I need to remember that!!! Heavenly Father knows all things and he knows my situation. It has been so fun this pregnancy to have the kids as old as they are. They are just so excited for him to come and Brinlee kisses my belly all the time. She also loves my silly belly button which I thought was funny!! Today we had our first sprinkle of snow and I sure hope that more waits until after the baby is born so that we can get our parents in and out without getting stuck in snow storms or better yet the nasty ice storms they have out here!!! I am so excited that my Mom and Dad are coming for a week it will be so nice to have them around to enjoy this little guy. Then we get to have Lances mom for a week too!! We are going to be pretty spoiled I don't know what we will do when they all go home!!! I am on my weekly appointments I go in next week to see if I have dialated at all and hopefully a couple weeks after that we will have a baby!!!! Oh By the way we are going to name him Braysen Steven Leavitt!!!!

Halloween

This was taken before trick-or-treating. Brinlee wanted to go so bad she was mad that I had to take a picture!!! They do things different in this Catholic community, because of some Saint they have they will not let the kids go trick-or-treating after dark. So my kids were done by about 4:30. Lance offered to keep taking them around town but they did a few houses and were all set!!! That night we had a fun Halloween dinner and watched a movie with the kids. It was a very long day because I had gotten up at 6:30 to get me ready then the kids off to school. After I went over and made soup and hot rolls for the boys at the school for lunch it was pretty fun!!!!! We had a good day. Oh by the way According to my kids I was suppose to dress-up like a big fat Marshmellow, because of my belly they made that up and thought it was pretty silly. So for the last few weeks before Brinlee went to bed she would laugh and say Mommy you are going to be a BIG FAT MARSHMELLOW for Halloween. I got a kick out of that!!!!!

My Power Ranger!!! He is getting so big!!! He was so excited to go to school that day and have his little party and be with his friends.

Braxton was a Red Power Ranger. His school walked up and down main street for a little I mean little parade!!! But it was still fun to see him dressed up with all of his friends.

My little Tinkerbell!!! I spent about 30 minutes curling her hair it was so fun!!!

Lance and Mike. They are so funny they went the night before Halloween to shop for a costume. Then the next morning they thought it would be fun to go over and scare all the boys at the school. Mike took an axe to make it a little bit more real. I guess they scared the boys pretty good!!!!

5 more weeks to go YIPEE!!!!!!!

I finally decided that it would be good for my family to see my budda belly since I am away from home. So far since the last time I saw the DR which was a few weeks ago I have only gained 15 pounds, I have no facial or body swelling. So far I have been very blessed. The only thing I can complain about is that I am getting bigger, but not as big as I was with the other two. I can't sleep and have to pee like 3 times a night. I have heartburn so I have to sleep pretty much sitting up. But I think all together this last few weeks havn't been that bad!!! I was WAY sick at first but I got over that at about 7 months. We are so excited for this little one to come and I think we are down to two names which are Braden and Jacob so I guess we will see what happens. I am so excited for my mom to fly out in a few weeks so she can be here with us, I just hope that I don't go early. But at least if I do go early there will be a baby boy waiting here for her. We also get Lances mom for a week and that will be exciting also. It is nice to have family to count on especially when we live so far away. I love you all!!!!!

It was so fun to have Big Mike over (that is what the kids call him). He is so good with the kids and so much fun to have around!!! Come over more often Mike it sure is nice to have you over!!!! By the way his pumpkin was Michael Myers from the Halloween movies you can't really tell here but in the dark it was pretty awesome!!

Braxton also brought home a pumpkin from school today. We let him carve it himself he did a great job!!!

My little computer nerd

I love it that my kids are so into the computer. Brinlee learns so much from it and all the cute games on Playhouse Disney are so educational. I was so excited also that I finally have some hair on her head that I can curl, she looks so big!!!!

Sunday afternoon

Yesturday after church on the nice 1 hour ride home Braxton asked me what we could do that afternoon. I told him whatever you want. So he then told me that he just wanted to lay on the couch and watch a movie with Brinlee. So here they are watching a movie together.

Grammie and Papa come to Visit

We had Grammie and Papa here this last week and the kids loved every minute of it!!! The Sunday they were here Kevy and Binny and the Girls came over for dinner it was so nice to visit together and just to hang out!!!!

One night after Brinlee's bath she told Papa how to play hide and seek just in case he didn't already know. Then she wanted to play go fish but with 12 cards (that were not go fish cards) Papa was having a hard time going fish. So she just put her entire hand down and said there we go Papa!!!!She loves her papa!!!

Lizzy got a Leapster from Grammie and Papa for her birthday and Brinlee already had one so they were just so content to lay on Brinlee's bed and play thier leapsters.

Nellie just wanted to stay right on the Princess scooter she looks soo big!!!!


So the girls thought it was cool to ride Brinlee's bike down the hill at the school and then they would help each other pull it back up, it was the cutest thing ever. They get along so well I am so glad that they have each other!!!! It is nice to have Kevy and Binny here with us I love it!!!!
